Massieoffice was formed in 2003 by brothers Christopher and Paul Massie, it is recognized as being at the forefront of a new generation of Canadian design.


Christopher holds a Degree in Fine Art and Paul a Degree in Industrial Design. They founded Massieoffice as the brothers have been working together informally long before the foundation of their studio. Their collaboration is based on a thorough dialogue and focused contextualization, drawing on a rigorous interdisciplinary approach. The Massie’s work relies on a varied and innovative foundation that is influenced greatly by the history and continuum of art and design. Many of their designs have won prestigious international awards and have been displayed in galleries and museums around the world.


The brother’s work has recently been exhibited at Wallpaper Magazine’s “Global Edit” in Milan at the Salone del Mobile, “New Design Canada” at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair and, “10 Innovative Canadian Designers” at the Interior Design Show in Toronto. They have been awarded two IDEE Awards, consecutive design awards.


Massieoffice’s work has been featured in many publications, including Abitare, Azure, Avenue, Blueprint, Canadian Interiors, Elle Decoration, Frame, Icon, New Design, New York, Ready Made, The Wall Street Journal and Wallpaper Magazine.
